Biological Sciences Department Details

Biological Sciences Faculty Job Responsibilities
- Teaching epidemiology and biostatistics at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Perform productive research and get funding.
- Participate in university teaching, research, and accreditation.
- Oversee undergraduate and graduate students to assist instructors and researchers.
- Create a financed, innovative research agenda and encourage interdisciplinary collaboration.

Biological Sciences Faculty Job Qualifications
- Epidemiology/Biostatistics PhD.
- Excellent research and teaching record.
- We value infectious disease, chronic disease, fieldwork, meta-analysis, and clinical research expertise.
- Experience teaching non-native English speakers is advantageous.
- Experience teaching public health, epidemiology, and biostatistics courses, organising graduate programs, and directing research projects is preferred.
- Experience with public health stakeholders and interdisciplinary research teams is valuable.
- Applicants for Associate Professor or Above
- Strong teaching and academic supervision experience.
- A university community service experience.
- International research profile with a positive financing history.

Chinese Labour Laws and provincial legislation control XJTLU employment. Candidates above 65 may not be eligible for a work visa.
