Edinburgh University seeks a driven PhD student to join a world-leading initiative exploring breakthrough technology to harness sustainable, reliable ocean wave energy. The EU flagship MEGA-PTO project aims to develop an innovative and scalable wave energy converter system.

• To develop wave energy device control techniques, a unique axial flux permanent magnet generator with a magnetic gear is used.

University of Edinburgh Eligibility and funding
