PhD Scholarships in Political Science Job Description
Do you want a salaried, institutionally sponsored PhD? The University of Southern Denmark (SDU) Department of Political Science and Public Management offers 3–4 fully funded PhD scholarships.
Starting January 1, 2025, or as agreed, these scholarships are offered in political science, public administration, international and regional politics, welfare studies, or journalistic studies.
PhD students are assigned to one of the department’s three research sections: PAWP, IRP, or JOUR. Research opportunities and assistance vary by section:
PAWP: Public Administration, Welfare, and Politics This area covers public administration, comparative welfare studies, social policy, comparative politics, and political economics.
It offers high-quality, research-based political science and public management instruction and supervision.
International and Regional Politics (IRP): This section contains the Danish Centre for Rural Research, Border Region Studies, and War Studies.
Modern security challenges, conflict changes, European border regions, and rural life improvements are researched.
Journalism (JOUR): The Centre for Journalism studies rhetoric, language, and journalism’s social, sociological, and political elements.
It offers bachelor, graduate, mid-career, and doctoral degrees for journalists.
