NSRY Apprentice Exam Pattern
Exam patterns for NSRY Apprentice are provided below.
1. Preliminary Shortlisting (Academic Merit List)
- Candidates are initialy shortlisted trade-wise and category-wise based on the aggregate percentage of marks obtained in Class X (Std 10) and their ITI trade certificate.
2. Interview & Technical Skill Test (50 Marks)
- Shortlisted candidates receive an interview call letter on their registered email ID.
- The interview is conducted at the Apprentice Training School, NSRY, Sri Vijaya Puram.
- Candidates are evaluated on their technical proficiency and trade skills.
3. Final Merit List Preparation
The final selection list is prepared based on the marks obtained in the Interview. In case of a tie between candidates, tie-breaker rules apply in the following order:
- Age Preference: The elder candidate is ranked higher.
- Alphabetical Order: Ascending order (A to Z) of the candidate’s first name, middle name, and surname as appearing on the Class 10 certificate.
4. Document Verification & Medical Examination
- Original Document Verification: Candidates must produce original certificates (Class 10 mark sheet, ITI certificate, Aadhaar card, Caste/PwD/Ex-Serviceman/NCC/Sports certificates if applicable).
- Medical Fitness: Candidates must obtain a medical fitness certificate from a Government Hospital/Officer and undergo examination by the Yard Medical Officer prior to enrolment.
