ISRO Exam Pattern
Exam patterns for ISRO are provided below.
The selection process consists of two stages:
- Written Test (Objective-type Objective Test)
- Skill Test (Qualifying in nature)
Final Selection Basis: The final merit list is prepared strictly on the basis of marks scored in the Written Test. The Skill Test is qualifying in nature and does not carry weightage in the final merit list.
Stage 1: Written Test
- Mode & Format: Objective-type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
- Duration: 120 minutes (2 Hours).
- Marking Scheme: +1 mark for correct answer, -0.25 negative marking for incorrect answer.
Qualifying Marks in Written Test:
- General (UR): Minimum 50% marks
- Reserved Categories (OBC/SC/ST/PwBD): Minimum 40% marks
Stage 2: Skill Test
Candidates are shortlisted for the Skill Test in a 1:5 ratio based on their Written Test performance.
