Dr. Adam Wilkinson’s Wilkinson Group is moving from Oxford to Cambridge. The lab will join the Cambridge Stem Cell Institute and Haematology Department.
- The group pioneered ex vivo HSC expansion and manipulation technologies that have been recognised and applied worldwide.
University of Cambridge Research Associate Jobs Key Research Areas
Develop long-term ex vivo growth methods for transplantable HSCs.
CRISPR/Cas9 Gene Editing: Effects on functional HSCs in autologous transplant models.
Molecular Regulation: Investigating HSC growth, differentiation, ageing, and transformation pathways.
Competencies and Experience
PhD in a related field.
Published research: One first-author original research publication related to the post.
- Home Office Personal Licence or similar.
- Experience working with HSCs and extensive knowledge of HSC biology.
- Epigenetics, ageing, and change are desirable.
- Knowledge of ex vivo HSC growth, CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing, and molecular assays (RNA-seq, ChIP-seq).
