*WB Primary TET Eligibility Criteria (Class I to V) 

West Bengal Primary Teachers (Class I–Class V) WB TET Exam Eligibility 2023

The following NCTE qualifications are required for web tet eligibility: 

  1. Candidates for WB TET must have a 2-year DEIEd with at least 50% marks. 
  2. 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEIEd) with minimum 50% grades. 
  3. Candidates with Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary with a minimum of 50% marks and RCI-recognized Diploma in Education (Special Education) can take TET. 

WB Upper Primary TET Eligibility Criteria (Class VI to VIII) 

WB TETS requires a graduate degree and two years of diploma. 

Reserved category candidates can get 5% marks added to 10+2 (45%) in Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary or its equivalent. 

WB TET exam eligibility for primary teachers (Class VI to Class VIII) 

West Bengal TET Exam Candidates can take WBTET if  

  • The B.Sc/BA or equivalent test was passed. 
  • Passed BEd/Secondary Education with at least 50%.
  • Applications are accepted for four-year BEIEd programs.
